Our Licenced Waste Transfer Station allows us to capture as much of the recyclable material as possible from the general waste stream, meaning that only the true, non-recyclable element is sent either to landfill or a conversion plant. As with all industries, new technology has resulted in advancements in waste management, and our continued investment here has seen installation of sorting equipment, increasing our ability to reduce the amount of waste taken to landfill.

Our Waste Collection Options

Listed below are the various containers we can supply to collect your waste in. You can also see which container we recommend for each type of waste. We do household, business & commercial waste collection.
Compactors
For large waste volumes we recommend waste compactors. Compaction allows a much higher payload in the container, increasing efficiency. They help to lower your collection costs as we do not have to visit as often to empty the container. These are a great solution for waste that can be considerably reduced in size, such as cardboard, bagged paper, plastic bottles or general waste.
We have both static and portable waste compactors available for hire.

Skips
We have 6 and 8 yard builders skips available for hire, 12 and 16 yard enclosed skips plus 20 and 40 yard roll-on roll-off skips. All these skips are more suited for heavier types of waste such as wood, metal or rubble. They are also perfect for one-off jobs like extensions or garden clearances, where there is likely to be a mix of waste types for removal.

Front End Loader (FEL) Skips
These 4 to 10 cubic yard FEL skips can hold much more waste than a Eurocart, but less than our waste compactors. They are suitable for businesses who need waste collecting on a regular basis, and for whom the 1100 litre capacity of a Eurocart is too small.
We operate a well established weekly waste collection service for these throughout North Lancashire and South Cumbria. They are best suited for paper, cardboard, plastic bottles & general waste and can be emptied on site.

Eurocarts / Wheelie Bins
We run regular Eurocart waste collection rounds throughout Lancaster, Morecambe, Kendal and surrounding areas. This includes a daily general waste round, and a free weekly collection for office waste.
These Eurocarts come in 1100, 660, 360 and 240 litre sizes and are a versatile solution for small amounts of rubbish. They are easily wheeled around and positioned with lockable wheels. They make a great container for general waste, paper, cardboard, glass, tins, mixed plastics & plastic bottles.

Skip in a Bag
These are a cheaper and smaller alternative to a builders skip. Perfect for one off clearouts like small refits or garden clearances, where you don’t need the capacity of a skip.
They can hold about a tonne of waste.
Kerbside
We also offer a kerbside collection service for small amounts of waste.
