Skip Hire User Guide
Permit
Skips placed on the public highway may need a permit from your local council, which we can arrange on your behalf. There is a small charge for the permit.
Access
Please ensure that the agreed position for the skip is clear of any obstruction to facilitate ease of delivery and collection.
Block paving drives and pathways or soft tarmac drives can become damaged when placing skips on them. If you wish the skip to be placed on this type of surface you agree to indemnify Capstick Waste Management Ltd of any damage which occurs.
The skip must not be moved from the position on site agreed by the customer and the driver.
Filling the Skip
Please do not overload the skip. The correct way of loading is for the waste inside not to exceed the top of the walls of the skip, particularly if the waste is predominantly brick and rubble. Please do not put heavy items such as brick and rubble in a skip larger than 8 cubic yards.
