Our paper recycling skip

Schools, charities, voluntary and non-profit organisations can make money by recycling paper with us, and so can large volume producers of waste paper, cardboard & metal. Please call us on 01524 63141 for details.

Paper Recycling Fundraiser

Lancashire County Council currently offer ‘recycling credits’ to non-profit organisations that recycle their paper. This means they will pay you £46.85 per tonne (2011 price). We will pay you a further £60 per tonne, so in all you can generate £106.85 a tonne!

Schools, charities, voluntary and any other non-profit organisations in the North Lancashire area can take part with us, although unfortunately fire & police stations and hospitals are not included by the council.

How it Works

1. We supply you with an orange 10 yard FEL skip to collect the paper in
2. You call us when it needs emptying
3. We provide you with a weight ticket showing how much you have collected, and pay you our proportion
4. You send the weight ticket to the council to receive the rest of the money from them
5. Repeat!

You need to fill the registration form in straight away, and post it to Lancashire County Council (address below). You only need to do this once.

You fill the claim form in after we have emptied your bin and sent you a weight ticket (which shows how much you have recycled). You do this after each empty.
