How the Document Shredding Service Works

1. We supply you with sealable, secure bags through the post.
2. You fill the bags with your confidential waste and seal them yourselves which ensures complete confidentiality.
3. We collect the documents via secure transport and label them for your tracking purposes.
4. The sealed bag is fed into our high-tech shredding machine using advanced technology to shred the bag and contents whilst delivering a recyclable material suitable for the paper mills.
5. We supply you with a ‘certificate of destruction’ confirming that all documents have been securely shredded.

Can I drop the documents off myself?

Yes you can provided it is your own confidential waste. See the Environment Agency guidance on waste carriers for more details.

How secure are your bags?

They are made from strong single ply white paper and have a sticky seal to ensure they remain sealed.

What size are your bags?

They are 550mm wide, 220mm deep & 950mm high, with a capacity of 60 litres. This compares favourably to the standard size which is 500mm wide and 750mm high.
